ZHPWT Launches All-in-One Coreless Coil Winding Machine: Finished Coils Straight Off the Winder, No Post-Forming Required

October 22th, 2026: ZHPWT today announced the launch of the new euipment a coreless (hollow-cup) coil winding machine. It combines multi-axis 3D synchronized winding with in-process hot-air curing of self-bonding wire. When winding is complete, the result is a finished cup-shaped coil, so all downstream forming steps are eliminated. The machine is designed for high-end coreless motor production, including humanoid robot joint motors, medical devices, drones, and precision servo motors.

The Challenge: Traditional Processes Require Rework

In conventional production, coreless coils must be pressed, rolled, and corrected after winding. These secondary steps cause several problems:

Risk of damage to the enamel insulation, leading to insulation failure or broken wires

Dimensional deviation caused by repeated clamping, resulting in poor coil consistency

Additional process steps, higher labor costs, and longer production cycles

The Solution: Multi-Axis Winding with Synchronized Hot-Air Curing

The machine uses multi-axis 3D synchronized motion to precisely control the winding path. At the same time, hot air cures the self-bonding wire as it is wound, so the coil takes its final shape during winding. Pressing, rolling, and correction steps are no longer needed.
